1. The job has been filled.
2. The posting is old and was set to auto-renew.
3. The job may not be an urgent need.
4. The employer already has several interviews lined up.
5. The job has been scraped off the internet and reposted.
There are several reasons that a job posting may be fools gold so you want to make sure that you follow up and get to the source of the job posting. Sometime this isn’t possible so it may be worthwhile to apply to the position and wait to hear back.
